To protect the interior against insects, the insect screen is rolled out and then locked in place with a hook bar or catches in the guides. When the net is released from the catches, the screen automatically retracts into the cassette. In this way you can quickly use the insect screen for windows whenever the need arises.

Roll-up insect screen is available in two versions: vertical and horizontal. Vertical insect screens are intended mainly for standard windows. Horizontal roll-up screens ones for terrace doors, balconies, in the double version also for wide windows.

How does a roll-up insect screen work?

The basis of a roll-up insect screen is a glass-fibre net (grey or black), with dense square meshes that prevent insects from getting in. At the same time, the fabric allows proper air circulation and visibility from inside. The aluminium frame is resistant to bad weather and corrosion, so there is no need to dismantle it after the season.

What is special about the roll-up insect screen is the way it is operated, which saves a lot of space - it does not open like a classic door or window, but by moving along the side rails, it is retracted into an aesthetic cassette. Manual operation by means of a convenient handle will be supported by a retarder, which can be ordered at the purchase stage.
