Antique handles in uPVC windows

As we mentioned the vintage handle is most commonly used on timber windows. But not only! Increasingly, the historic handle is also being installed on PVC windows (such as Aluplast windows, Rehau windows or Salamander windows), which breaks the spirit of modernity of this type of window and gives them an original style. Windows in classic white or grey fitted with muntin bars are ideal for this role.

Old style window handles - where style mixes with modern technology

As we mentioned, windows with antique handles are styled to look somewhat vintage. However, they have the latest technology and are created with the best possible materials. They can be fitted with burglar-proof, toughened, solar control glass or ornamental glass to ensure maximum comfort and security. They also have very good technical parameters - they are resistant to harmful external factors, protect against wind, cold and noise.

Historic windows with antique handles

When we talk about antique window handles, it is impossible not to mention historic windows. This is a special timber profile distinguished by its traditional drainage and timber eaves, as well as an optional elegant ‘cremona’ closure. It is most commonly found in Parisian flats decorated in the ‘old style’ and in major French cities, but there is nothing to prevent it being assembled in a building located in another country as well.
