Side-hinged garage door - operation
Side-hinged garage doors can be single- or double-leaf. The leafs can only be manually opened to the outside at a 90-degree angle.
SIDE-HINGED GARAGE DOOR - CONSTRUCTION
The frame and leafs of the side-hinged door are constructed from solid galvanised steel sections, and the door shutter is filled with galvanised steel sheet, which has been coated with polyester paint in one of the many available RAL colours.
Normally, side-hinged doors are equipped with the following elements:

lock with a patent insert (three keys included),
-
double-sided PVC-1 handle in black colour mounted on the active leaf,
-
door leaf restrictor (restricts movement in the opening direction),
-
hinge restrictor (to protect the door leaf from drop down), two-point latching,
-
door holder to protect the door leaf against closing,
-
installation kit.
SIDE-HINGED GARAGE DOOR - ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT
When buying a side-hinged door, you have the opportunity to take advantage of interesting additional options, such as:

insulating the internal leaf with PVC panels to improve the thermal insulation of your garage,
-
wicket door in the garage door, which will increase the comfort of the use and functionality of the entire construction,
-
ventilation grilles (available as an option with an insect screen) to provide fresh air and protect rooms from intrusive insects,
-
burglar-proof inserts, by replacing an ordinary insert with a burglar-proof one in burglary resistance class C, you will additionally secure your house in case of burglary,
-
windows for additional lighting of the garage area.
SAFE USE OF SIDE-HINGED GARAGE DOORS
Side-hinged doors are equipped with a solid lock with an insert. They have a two-point latching system to prevent unauthorised entry. The high level of protection is certified in accordance with EN 13241-1.
FASHIONABLE DESIGN
